About Me
Uludag University in Turkey and shortly afterwards I moved to the UK then I accomplished my
English education at St. Giles International London Central. Since then I have been working as
a freelance translator, proofreader and subtitler. In addition, I am a sworn English to Turkish
translator authorised by the Gemlik 1st Notary Public in Turkey. Mainly, I translate from English
to Turkish.
Briefly stated I have been translating different kinds of texts from the 'source language' into
the 'target language', making sure that the meaning is maintained:
• scientific, technical or commercial material like reports, manuals and brochures
• legal documents, such as contracts
• literary work, including novels, plays and poetry
• media work, such as film scripts and subtitles for films
• educational resources, including textbooks, e-books and apps
• online content, including e-commerce, interactive platforms, business to business websites
and online blogs
