About Me

I am native Hausa speaker based in Kano,Nigeria. I have over 10 years' experience in translation and field interpretation from Hausa to English, and English to Hausa. I worked variously as Multimedia Broadcast Journalist with the BBC Hausa Service and In-house translator and interpreter with Network Arewa 24 (a free -to-air Hausa Satellite TV funded by the US Department of State) I have also worked as Research Assistant with Kano State History and Culture Bureau working as field interpreter to researchers among other duties in the 80s.
